Authorities are searching for a 4-year-old boy who was reported missing from a Tampa apartment complex.
Deputies say Jaiden Henry walked out of his apartment while his mother was in the shower Monday morning.
Deputies went door to door at the Landing Apartments on St. Johns River Drive, but did not locate the child.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office deputies are looking for a missing 4-year-old boy.



Jaiden Henry is black, with a stud earring in his right ear, and was
last seen wearing an orange shirt, light blue pants and socks.

Deputies responded to The Landings apartments, 6904 St. Johns River
Drive., Tampa, shortly before 9 a.m. today, according to an HCSO media
release.

Sasha Earnest, the child's mother, was in the shower and when she
finished her shower, she discovered the front door open and the child
missing, the release states.

Deputies have gone door to door in the apartment complex and have not
located the child. Sheriff's deputies are using police dogs and a
helicopter to search the area, which is just north of King High School.

Update: Relative says missing 3-year-old boy found alive with babysitter


UPDATE: A great aunt of 3-year-old Jaiden Henry said the boy has been found at a babysitter's home. Officials have not yet confirmed that.

Missing 3-year-old found safe



A 3-year-old boy missing since this morning has been found safe.
Jaiden Henry was reported missing shortly before 9 a.m. today. His mother, Sasha Earnest, said the boy appeared to have wandered away from The Landings apartments while she was in the shower.
Deputies went door to door in the apartment complex and used police dogs and a helicopter to search the area, which is just north of King High School.
About 1 p.m., though, Henry's great aunt reported the child had been found safe.
Sheriff David Gee said the boy had been found with his babysitter. He said deputies had re-interviewed a roommate of the mother's and determined the child might be in the care of a babysitter; the boy and the babysitter were found shortly afterward at a grocery store.
Gee said the sheriff's office deployed about 30 deputies, the dive team and helicopters in the search.
Authorities had earlier incorrectly listed the boy's ago as 3.
