The family of missing teen, 17-year-old Keyan Hammond, says Palo Cedro
Printing donated 250 flyers to help find their son. The family says
Hammond has been missing since Monday and was last seen at Shasta
College in Redding. The Hammond family says this has been an
incredibly difficult time for them, but the community getting involved
has helped them a lot. There are flyers hanging up in Shasta College
because the family says someone must have seen him leave campus. The family is hoping to soon pass out the 250 flyers that were donated by Palo Cedro Printing.

Re: KEYAN HAMMOND - 17 yo - Redding CA
Keyan Hammond, the 17 year-old Palo Cedro teen who disappeared last
week, told investigators he'd run away because he needed to get out of
town and clear his mind. The Shasta County Sheriff's Office found
Keyan Hammond alive and well in Cassel, east of Burney, last Friday.
Hammond had left his car in the woods and walked to a nearby home where
he asked the homeowners to call his family so he could go home. He was
found in good health and the car was later recovered by the family.Officials
say, on Monday April 4th, the teen went to register for classes at
Shasta College and then drove to Reno, Nevada for a couple days because
he was stressed out with life. He was overwhelmed with being a high
school senior and the big decisions that were ahead after graduation,
including college or possibly joining the military. Keyan told
authorities that he stayed in his car along Highway 395 in Reno for a
few days, then decided to return home and began to drive back. That’s
when Keyan parked his car in the woods and started walking to the
closest home where he was later located by authorities.During the
time that Keyan went missing, an anonymous donor offered a $25,000
reward to help find him. The Secret Witness program, which handles the
rewards says because Keyan was found so quickly, the money was never
given to them. Also, given the nature of the case, no one will be
receiving the reward.
