Casey Anthony was back in court on Friday afternoon. Her defense team tried to add a new expert to the witness list.

Defense attorney Jose Baez wanted a new mental health expert to help explain Casey's seemingly nonchalant attitude about her missing daughter early in the case.

“Strictly to the rebuttal of the consciousness of guilt aspect of the case,” Baez said.

But the prosecution argued that if the defense witness is added it wants its own mental health expert to examine Casey. Circuit Court Judge Belvin Perry questioned whether the expert’s testimony would pass legal requirements but he put off ruling until later.

Also during the hearing, Baez fought to keep pictures of heart-shape stickers from being allowed in the upcoming trial.

“The stickers are indicative of nothing in this case, nothing as it relates to any type of evidence.

Perry said he will allow the sticker and a tattoo Casey got apparently when her three-year-old daughter Caylee was missing back in the summer of 2008. The state argued the tattoo shows Casey’s state of mind at the time and said it could be read as an epitaph for her daughter.
