There was a larger crowd today waiting to get into court. The deputies let the attorneys and media in first and then came out to address he ‘crowd’ to statethe courtroom rules (i.e. no cell phones, no talking while HHJP is at the bench etc.) The deputy then announced the first rows on the SA side were reserved for media and some bloggers (insert big smile). There was a group of attorneys there that were upset that they weren’t given preferential treatment in seating. Now, mind you they weren’t attorneys for anyone involved in the case, so they were treated as another public spectator. That didn’t go over well with one of the female attorneys. I thought it was kind of amusing that she felt some entitlement???
