Physical Description: 39 inches tall, 40 lbs, blue eyes, blond hair (long), Caucasian

Clothing: Green sweatshirt, pink rain jacket, pink rain boots with rabbit faces, Spiderman underwear & socks

Believed to be in the company of: Kristi Ann BARSANTI DOB: 31/Dec/1989 (21 years of age)



Physical Description: 5’2”, 115 lbs, above shoulder dark brown hair with a red streak, green eyes (has blue contacts)

The AMBER Alert for Leila Elizabeth MAY is being CANCELLED.

Liela has still not been located and is believed in the company of her biological mother Kristi BARSANTI.

Sault Ste Marie Police are continuing their investigation into Leila's abduction.

Amber Alert Issued For Missing Sault Ste. Marie Girl

Law enforcement officials only issue Amber Alerts to warn the public about a missing or potentially abducted child. While the warning is not used frequently, the Ontario Police Department has issued an Amber Alert over the possible abduction of a local three year old girl.

The Amber Alert was issued shortly after the three year old girl, who has been identified as Leila Elizabeth May of Sault Ste. Marie, was identified as missing. The young girl was taken out of custody around 6pm on Sunday night. She is believed to have been abducted by her mother, Kristi Ann Barsanti.

According to the report, the young girl has very light blonde hair and blue eyes. When she was last seen she was wearing a green sweatshirt along with a matching pink rain coat and boots.

The girl’s mother is 21 years old has dark brown hair and green hair, although she at times does wear blue contacts which could change her eye color. At the time of the abduction she also had red streaks running throughout her hair.

The mother is about 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 115 pounds.

If anyone sees either the girl or the mom they are requested to call 911.
