Missing West Vancouver girl, 14, last seen at Lonsdale Quay

METRO VANCOUVER — West Vancouver Police are searching for a 14-year-old girl missing since Monday evening.
Police say Carly Olson was last seen by friends around 10 p.m. at Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver.
Investigators
do not suspect foul play at this point but are concerned because she
has no cell phone and no known access to money.
Police say
she has attended North Vancouver and West Vancouver high schools and is
known to frequent many locations on the North Shore.
Although police say Olson has left home before it is out of character for her not to contact anyone.
Olson is described as five-foot-seven with a medium build and long straight brown hair, brown eyes with braces.
She
was last seen wearing beige UGG style boots, black leggings, a brown
leather jacket and carrying a grey cloth bag with peace signs on it.

Carly Olson: LOCATED safe and sound

West Vancouver Police say a 14-year-old girl missing since Monday evening has turned up safe and sound. Police say Carly Olson made contact with police after being made aware of a news release saying she was missing.
