Richmond Hill police seek help finding 13-year-old girl

The Richmond Hill Police Department is seeking help in locating a 13-year-old runaway girl missing since yesterday.

Rachel Peeples, was last seen in the Piercefield
Forest subdivision wearing a blue shirt and Simpsons pajama pants
carrying a dark in color handbag. She has short brown hair, is 5 feet
tall and weighs approximately 120 lbs.

The accompanying photo of Peeples was taken in 2009.

Anyone with any information as to her whereabouts is asked to call the RHPD at 912-459-2878.

The subject of an Amber Alert issued by Richmond Hill Police
Department has been located and is safe according to a police official.
Lt. Dana Strickland said Rachel Peeples, age 13, was found Wednesday
evening in a vacant house in the Teal Lake subdivision of Richmond
Hill.
The Amber Alert was issued Tuesday when Peeples was reported as a runaway after she had not been seen since Monday afternoon.
