Missing 17-year-old Mitchell Grieves

April 29, 2011 - City police are appealing to the public for help in locating a missing 17-year-old from Brantford.

Police say the family of Mitchell Grieves reported him missing on Tuesday, after he left the home of a family member on Edward Street earlier that day.

Police believe Grieves may be with family or friends in the Brantford or Hamilton areas. Although Grieves has "no urgent medical issues," police are concerned about his wellbeing and would like to speak with him.

Grieves is described as white, 17 years old, 5'5", 130 pounds, with a medium build, short brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, green jacket with fur around the hood and collar and possibly red and black shorts.

Anyone with information about Grieves' whereabouts is asked to contact Brantford police at 519-756-7050 or their local police service.

Have you seen Mitchell Grieves?

Brantford police believe the 17-year-old who has been missing since April 26 is in the Hamilton area.

Inspector Ken Potruff said Monday investigators have learned that he is likely in Hamilton.

Police say there are no medical issues involved but police are concerned about his wellbeing and would like to talk to him.

Grieves was reported missing by his family after he left a family member’s Edward Street home in Brantford April 26.

It is believed he may be with family or friends in the Brantford or Hamilton areas.

Grieves is described as a white male, 17-years-old, 5 foot 5 inches tall, about 130 pounds with a medium build, short brown hair, green eyes. He was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, green jacket with fur around the hood and collar, and possibly red and black shorts.

Police are asking the public to contact them at 519-756-7050, or their local police service, if they see Mitchell Grieves or know of his whereabouts.
