Casey Anthony trial: Potential jurors will be asked about pretrial publicity today

CLEARWATER — The fourth day of jury selection in the Casey Anthony murder trial will wade into new territory today: Prospective jurors will be quizzed about their knowledge of pretrial publicity in the case and their ability to recommend a death sentence, if the case comes to that.
Anthony, 25, is charged with killing her daughter, 2-year-old Caylee Marie, in mid-2008.
The case has drawn worldwide attention, and Orange-Osceola Chief Judge Belvin Perry decided to select jurors in Pinellas County with the hopes that people there had not been so saturated with the coverage.
But after three days of sifting through about 200 potential jurors, it's clear some potential jurors are knowledgeable of this case.
