Casey Anthony: When will trial shift to Orlando? What about these photos?

With jury selection dragging on in the Casey Anthony case, observers are wondering when the opening statements will start in Orlando.
The Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida released this statement Sunday: “No official date has been set for the start of the State v Casey Anthony trial in Orlando. Judge Perry has indicated that he will give the selected jurors a one day break before beginning opening arguments in Orlando.”
Jury selection will resume Monday in Pinellas County.
WOFL-Channel 35 legal analyst Diana Tennis predicted that the opening statements won’t start sooner than next Monday, which is May 23. Jury selection is a time-consuming process, Tennis said, and Chief Judge Belvin Perry has little control over how long the attorneys take to question potential jurors.
The defense’s opening statement could reveal whether Anthony will take the stand, Tennis said. Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee.
“I can’t imagine they’re going to risk it,” Tennis said of letting Anthony testify. “But on some level I also think that may be the way to go: Go for broke.”
Tennis said because Caylee’s means of death hasn’t been determined, it’s a huge issue for prosecutors. “If they can’t tell the jurors how that death occurred, it is very unlikely they are going to get the death penalty,” she said.
I hear from many readers about the Anthony photographs that I use in the blog. Readers tell me how great the photos are, and I agree. I put this question to a photographer: Why does Casey Anthony make such compelling photos? The eyes, he said.
What do you think?
