Judge Hopes To Swear In Jury Friday

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Judge Belvin Perry set out a new time line Thursday to get a jury for Casey Anthony's murder trial sworn in.

Perry said he intends to swear jurors in Friday, and then begin opening statements on Monday.

In all, 16 jurors have been retained. None have been officially sworn in.

After defense objections about Perry's plan to finalize a jury first and alternates later, the judge announced his intention to swear in jurors tomorrow but he didn't say how many.

"I may be swearing them all in, or maybe swearing in the 12. I don't know," he said.
