Nicki Russell was reported missing at 11 p.m. Friday, and he
Mason County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the community's help to
locate her.

POINT PLEASANT -- Nicki Lea Russell, 14, of Point Pleasant, was reported missing from her home on Friday at 11 p.m. She is 5 feet, 2 inches tall, about 130 pounds, with long, straight brown hair, brown eyes and glasses. She is believed to be wearing skinny jeans, a dark-colored t-shirt and silver tennis shoes with neon-colored laces. She is the daughter of Shawn and Jan Russell, also of Point Pleasant.
Nicki has been known to frequent the Pleasant Valley Apartments in Point
Pleasant. Nicki is said to have been under emotional distress lately, caused by
predictions of the end of the world on some Christian-based radio
stations. If anyone has seen Nicki please contact the Mason County Sheriff's

POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A Mason County teenager has been reported missing and is believed to be in danger.

Mason County Sheriff's Deputies tell WSAZ.com Nicki Lea Russell, of Point
Pleasant, W.Va., has been missing since Friday at 11:00 p.m.



Nicki is 14 years-old.
Deputies say she is 5”2’, weighs about 130 pounds, has long, straight brown hair, brown eyes, and wears glasses.
She is believed to be wearing "skinny" jeans, a dark colored t-shirt and silver tennis shoes with neon colored laces.
Nicki is the daughter of Shawn and Jan Russell, also of Point Pleasant.
They say Nicki has made recent comments and Facebook postings about the
alleged "end of the world" and has been experiencing behavior and
emotional issues. She has been entered into NCIC as a missing person.
Deputies say they have contacted several of Nicki's friends on her whereabouts but they did not have any information.
Nicki is known to frequent the Pleasant Valley Apartments, which are also known as "The Hole".
They say she also frequently visits a friend in Fairmont, W.Va.
Mason County Sheriff's Deputies are asking anyone with information to give them a call at (304) 675-3838.

POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. -- A teen who was
reported missing on Friday in Point Pleasant has been located, according
to the Mason County Sheriff's Department.
Nicki Lea Russell, 14, of Point Pleasant was found at about 2 p.m. Sunday in
Point Pleasant and appeared to be unharmed, officers said.
Russell was reported missing from her home around 11 p.m. on Friday.
Russell was returned to her parents, a deputy said.
