AILEEN and ROCHELLE MOORE - 6 and 4 yo - Stockton CA

A Statewide Amber Alert has been issued for two missing children out of Stockton in San Joaquin County.Officials
say Rochelle Moore and Aileen Moore were abducted today at 3:22 pm.
Rochelle Moore is a 3 year-old Black male, 3 feet tall, weighing 45
pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue
jeans and a white t-shirt. Aileen Moore is a 6 year-old Black female, 3
feet 6 inches tall, weighing 35 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a pink and white t-shirt and capri pants.
The suspect has not been identified and was last seen driving a Pink and
Red Buick Park Avenue with a California License plate of 6BUP713.

STOCKTON, Calif. -- Stockton Police
canceled a statewide Amber Alert for two children after they determined
the reported kidnapping was completely false.

Rockelle Moore, father of the two children, and a female companion are facing multiple
charges of filing false reports to police according to investigators.Rochelle Moore Junior, age 3, and his sister Aileen, 6, were reported kidnapped about 3:15 Saturday afternoon along Martin Luther King Boulevard. The father told police he and the
companion had pulled over during an argument and left the vehicle with
doors open, engine running and the children inside.

A witness told KCRA 3 News he saw Moore running after a woman running
down the street while a Honda Civic pulled behind the abandoned
vehicle. A man left the Honda, jumped into the open vehicle and drove
away, he said.

Authorities now believe the car theft may real, but everything else was still in question.The
mother of the children called authorities Saturday night to say
Rochelle and Aileen were safe with her and had never been with their
father, Stockton Police said.

A Stockton man and his companion were arrested
Saturday night on charges of filing a false police report after he
allegedly claimed his children had been abducted.
Rockelle Donshay Moore, 29, and Beatrice Victoria Rollins, 33, of Stockton were
booked into the San Joaquin County Jail at 12:47 a.m. Sunday and
remained in custody as of Sunday evening.
They were arrested at 9:30 p.m. Saturday after being questioned by Stockton police.
Police reported that Moore said his car had
been stolen about 3:15 p.m. while he and a female were arguing outside
the idling vehicle on Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Police said Moore claimed his 6-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son were in the car as it headed north on Aurora Street.
An Amber Alert was activated, displaying information about the alleged
abduction on freeway signs and announcing it on broadcast stations.
Before the alert was canceled, police officials also held a news conference -
asking that the alleged kidnapper to return the children.
Their mother then notified police that they were safe with her at home, according to police.
