So far today, three former roommates of Casey Anthony's ex-boyfriend have taken the stand, and each of them have said Casey was a happy person who never showed any signs of sadness during the time in which her daughter was missing.

The defense's argument is that 2-year-old Caylee Marie Anthony never went missing. Instead, she had drowned in the Anthony family pool on June 16, 2008.

The three roommates who testified this morning have all said that Casey Anthony had moved in with her then-boyfriend Anthony Lazzaro around the middle of June and there was never any indication that the toddler was missing — or dead.

A woman who dated one of those roommates was the first witness to recall the exact date she saw Casey Anthony participating in a hot body contest at Club Fusion during the time of Caylee's disappearance.

They are the first witnesses to testify on this second day of the first-degree murder trial.
