This past Tuesday kicked off the murder trial of Casey Anthony. Opening arguments were presented that day by both sides and witnesses began to be questioned. The important points for the first day of trial were:

The State appears to be going with the idea that the duct tape was the murder weapon. While many ahve speculated on that based on Ashton’s previously presented scenario, Burdick’s opening statement seems to firm that speculation up.

The Defense is going with that it is everybody’s fault but Casey’s.
