Geraldo Rivera says prosecution portraying Casey Anthony as a 'slut'

New York, NY - The Casey Anthony murder trial wrapped up a week of testimony on Saturday with another day of emotion and explosive testimony. The proseuction in the case alleges Casey murdered her own toddler daughter, and Geraldo Rivera believes it has gone so far as to portray the Florida woman as a slut.

“I think the prosecution has... done an excellent job in what I call the “slutification” process. They have really portrayed Casey Anthony effectively, I think, as someone who is heartless, selfish, narcissistic, self-involved,” Fox News TV host Rivera said on the cable show 'Fox and Friends.'

He added that lack of remorse cannot be used as evidence of guilt in Florida, however, the prosecution is doing all it can to try and demonstrate Casey didn't care about her daughter's well-being.

“It clearly was the story of the prosecution case,” Rivera noted, saying Caylee allegedly died on June 16 and by June 20 Casey was out partying “...in the famous now notorious blue dress... doing the shimmy shimmy at the club.”

When asked how the defense could counter the image of a woman who seemed to care less that her child was missing, Rivera said “...You first have to establish because there is no official cause of death that it is possible the child died accidentally by drowning in the swimming pool and there's some evidence to support that.”
