Jurors in the Casey Anthony trial watched hours of jailhouse videos before sitting through an afternoon of evidence logging during the ninth day of the long-awaited murder trial.
The state announced on Friday that it plans to wrap up its death penalty case against Casey Anthony on or around June 17 – four weeks into testimony.
After the state rests, the defense will begin to present its case to the jury. The trial was predicted to last between six and eight weeks.
The 10th day of the trial will be a half-day of court Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. and ending around 1 p.m. The state is expected to call an FBI agent to talk about hairs found in the trunk of Casey Anthony's car.
On Friday, several Orange County Sheriff's Office crime scene technicians were questioned in the afternoon session of the Casey Anthony first-degree murder trial.
