ROBERT MICHAEL BROOKENS - 17 yo - Fort Wayne IN
Members of the Three Rivers Wesleyan Church are gathering Thursday to
pray for the safety of 17-year-old Robert Michael Brookens, who went
missing Wednesday night.
Police said that was where he was last seen. The
Fort Wayne Police Department said they were looking for Mike’s car, a
Gold 1996 Mazda 626, but it was eventually found Thursday morning by the
Allen County Sheriff's deputies at Johnny Appleseed Park by the boat
ramp, at 1600 Coliseum Blvd. According to the Allen County
Sheriff’s Department activity log, just before 10 pm., dispatch received
a call from a father who said his son, Mike, was at the church at 2825
Hillegas Road and someone was trying to break into the building, came
after him with a crowbar and tried to rob him. The report said police do not know how many suspects were involved in the incident. Police said they are not ruling anything out, including foul play. According to Rick and Paige Brookens’ Facebook page , “several National Missing Persons/Children agencies are becoming involved. Anyone with information is instructed to contact the Allen County Sheriff's Department at 449-3000.http://www.wane.com/dpp/news/church-concerned-about-missing-teen
