June 17, 2011 - Halton Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Burlington youth.



Shasta Ten Thije (also known as Shasta Conkrite), 16, was scheduled to meet her guardian at 2:30 p.m. on June 11 at Spencer Smith Park in Burlington but never showed up.

Police said she indicated she would be heading to Brantford after accessing her Facebook account June 12.

She is 5 foot 3 inches, 175 pounds with long straight brown hair and blue eyes, white with a medium complexion and has piercings on her nose and upper and lower lips.
