ORLANDO, Fla. -- Taxpayers will foot a bill for more than $6,000 for a Casey Anthony defense expert who likely won't even testify during Anthony's first-degree murder trial.
Anthony was declared indigent in March 2010. A state agency, the Justice Administrative Commission, now doles out funding for her defense. All costs must be approved by Judge Belvin Perry.
Defense attorney Jose Baez filed a motion Monday asking for reimbursement in the amount of $6,850.
