Missing mother, son last seen at Durham Walmart

DURHAM, N.C. --
A Durham mother and her toddler son are the subjects of a missing persons case after they were last reported seen shopping at a local Walmart.

Police say 25-year-old Rossibel Vides Ramirez and her 2-year-old son Jeremy Josue Romero Vides were last seen on the night of July 30. Ramirez's husband told police that he was shopping with his family when he went to another part of the store to buy a few items. The husband said when he returned to the front of the store, his wife and son were no longer there.

The husband says he has not seen his family since that time and reported them missing on Tuesday.

Ramirez is described as a Hispanic female, 5 feet tall and about 130 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair. The child is described as 2'6" tall and weighing 30 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

said Friday that they were trying to locate a Durham woman and her
2-year-old son who have been missing since last weekend.

Vides Ramirez, 25, and her son, Jeremy Josue Romero Vides, were last
seen at about 9:15 p.m. Saturday in the Walmart store at New Hope
Commons, police said.
Ramirez’s husband told officers he was
shopping with his wife and son when he went to another part of the store
to buy a few items. When he returned to the front of the store, his
wife and son were no longer there, and he hasn't seen them since, he
told police.
The mother and son were reported missing Tuesday night.
Ramirez
is Hispanic, 5 feet tall and about 130 pounds. She has brown eyes and
black hair. The boy is Hispanic, 2½ feet tall and about 30 pounds. He
has brown hair and brown eyes.
Police said they had no description of the clothes the two were last seen wearing.
