South Carolina Man Faces Charges In Holly Hill

HOLLY HILL, Fla. -- A
South Carolina man said he turned himself in to Holly Hill police
because he is guilt-ridden about molesting a 7-year-old girl, officials
reported Wednesday.
Police said Charles Johnson Jr., 42, molested a Volusia County girl several years ago.
Johnson
is accused of abusing the child at a Holly Hill home in 2008. The man
told investigators that he used the girl's hand to touch himself.
Johnson said the molestation went on while the girl slept, according to police.
Officers
said Johnson moved to South Carolina after the incident. He said he
agreed to talk to local law enforcement officers because he was eaten up
with guilt about it.
Johnson was arrested and booked into the Volusia County Jail.
