ORLANDO, Fla. -- The parents of the Florida mother who was acquitted in July of killing her 2-year-old daughter are set to appear on the "Dr. Phil" television show next month.

George and Cindy Anthony's interview with Dr. Phil McGraw is scheduled to air Sept. 12, according to a statement released Monday by the show. The episode will examine the public scrutiny they've faced during and following their daughter's murder trial.

The Anthony's daughter, 25-year-old Casey Anthony, was found not guilty last month of killing her daughter Caylee in the summer of 2008.

The show is not compensating the Anthonys for the interview, according to the release, and is only being asked to donate to a charity organization that has been set up to advocate for the rights of grandparents of missing children.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- George and Cindy Anthony are scheduled to sit for a chat with TV's Dr. Phil McGraw in September.

Multiple sources said the Anthony's attorney, Mark Lippman, was shopping the interview for a six-figure payment. He has previously said any money would benefit the new CayleesFund.org -- not the Anthonys.

The Anthonys surprised many when they showed up to commemorate what would have been Caylee Anthony's sixth birthday last week.

According to a press release from the Dr. Phil show, the Anthonys have agreed to appear on the season premiere next month. McGraw has promised a no-holds-barred interview. The show's producers said the Anthonys requested a donation to CayleesFund.org.

"This much we do know: Dr. Phil's people are paying money to the charity. What's done from there, we don't know," People Magazine writer Steve Helling said.

Helling said Lippman had been shopping the interview for a mid-six-figure asking price.

"I don't think it would be under $100,000, and I don't think it would be over $500,000. I just don't think so," Helling said.
