HARTSVILLE, SC --

Hartsville police are looking for a 16-year-old girl reported missing Wednesday.

Patience Deonna Knowles
is described as a white girl about 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing about
115 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. She has discernable tattoos:
five illustrated stars and the word Patience. She was last seen wearing a yellow and pink top, blue denim jeans and black flip-flops.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked call the police

HARTSVILLE, SC --

A 16-year-old girl reported missing a week ago has been found safe.

Patience Deonna Knowles "is in good health and will be transferred to the S.C. Department of Juvenile Justice," according to a press release issued by the city early Wednesday night.

“We would like to thank the citizens for all their help with this case, for calling in and working with us,” Hartsville Police Detective Mike Anderson, who helped lead the investigation into her disappearance, said the release.

No other details were provided about how or where the girl was found.
