Missing persons alert issued for 14-year-old girl

Chicago police today issued a missing persons alert for a 14-year-old South Side girl who was last seen Friday.



Alliyah Beal went missing in the area of State Street and 40th Place, but also may be in the area of 3900 South Giles Avenue, 4100 South Prairie Avenue and 3900 South Cottage Grove Avenue, police said.

She was last seen wearing a powder blue Wendell Phillips shirt, navy pants and wheat-colored Timberland boots.

She is 5-foot-2, 180 pounds with brown eyes, black hair and a medium black complexion.

UPDATE -- Chicago Police said today that a South Side girl who
had been missing since Friday has been found. No other information was
available.
