Jeff Ashton's Casey Anthony book on sale Nov. 15 -- OS
Former prosecutor to make library appearance.
Local followers of the Casey Anthony trial have a little more than a month to wait for the release of prosecutor Jeff Ashton's new book on the super high-profile case.
"Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony" is set to go on sale Nov. 15. The book will cost $26.99, according to William Morrow, an Imprint of HarperCollins Publishers.
The following Monday, Nov. 21, Ashton will do a public question-and-answer and book signing at the Orlando Public Library downtown. That event is set for 6 p.m. at the 101 East Central Blvd. location.
The session is planned for the facility's "Library Central" area on the first floor. Copies of the book will be available for purchase in the library at that time.

The several hundred page book is finished, according to Sharyn Rosenblum with William Morrow. She added that Ashton "really wants to be public about this." He is expected to do other appearances to promote the book.
Earlier reports had the Ashton book going on sale Nov. 29.
Last month, People magazine published "Outrage: The Casey Anthony Story" for $6.99. That book was written by Steve Helling, the Florida-based staff writer who covered the Anthony trial.
Ashton, a veteran assistant state attorney, announced his resignation soon after the Casey Anthony trial ended. In July, Anthony, 25, was acquitted of the most serious charges against her, including first-degree murder, in connection with the 2008 death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Marie.
The release of the Ashton book will come soon after recent news reports suggested he is considering a run against his former boss and long-time incumbent Orange-Osceola State Attorney Lawson Lamar.
Ashton, however, has not officially filed for the 2012 campaign.
