ROXANNE THOOFT - 15 yo - Garretson/ Sioux Falls SD

Law enforcement is seeking the public's help in finding an endangered teen, Roxanne Thooft, 15, of Garretson.

Thooft last was seen at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday in Garretson. She did not arrive at school.

Thooft
is 5-foot-7, 115 pounds, with blond hair and hazel eyes. She is thought
to be in the company of Michael Hagen. Roxanne and Hagen are not
allowed to have contact, according to the endangered person advisory.
Hagen
has an active felony warrant for rape and has criminal charges pending
on a separate sexual assault case. He recently has made suicidal
statements.

Officials ask anyone who might have seen Thooft or
Hagen to call 367-7000 immediately and not to try to take action to
rescue Thooft.

Walk Gets Word Out For Missing Loved Ones

GARRETSON, SD - A foundation in KELOLAND is holding a "walk for the missing" in Garretson just days after 15-year-old Roxanne Thooft went missing.

The walk is benefiting 4-1-1 Gina.org, a foundation which helps get the word out for missing loved ones across the country. Organizers say they formed it after their aunt disappeared 11 years ago. They planned the walk months ago, but say it is ironic that it comes after Roxanne Thooft went missing.

“It's just incredible that the timing worked out to where we can showcase one of our loved ones and get it out there,” Walk Organizer Danielle Nelson said.

More than 30 people took part in the walk. Organizers say they are passing out fliers to get the word out about Thooft.

The Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office says a missing teenager from Garretson has been found near Austin, Texas.

Authoritites say Roxanne Thooft, who's 15, was found with Michael Hagen. Hagen is 20 years old and a fugitive.

Both
will eventually be transported back to South Dakota where their pending
cases will be dealt with. Thooft will appear in juvenile court, and
Hagen will appear in Circuit Court regarding his pending 4th Degree Rape
cases.

Thooft had been missing since last Wednesday morning when she did not show up for school.
