ALISHA ELZNIC - 14 yo - Brandon/ Sioux Falls SD

The Brandon Police Department is asking for help in finding a teen girl who ran away from home last week.

Officials
say 14-year-old Alisha Elznic left her home in Brandon Friday evening
without her mother's permission. Police believe she is staying at a
friend's house in Sioux Falls, but they do not know who that friend is.

Police say Elznic's family is concerned about her well-being and her ability to stay out of dangerous situations.

Elznic
is described as standing 5 foot 3 inches tall, weighing about 130
pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark
colored shirt and blue jeans. Police say Elznic had told friends over
the phone she planned to cut her hair and dye it a different color to
avoid detection by law enforcement.

The Brandon Police Department is asking for the public's help to locate an endangered runaway.
Alisha
Amanda Elznic, 14, left her Brandon home on the evening of March 23.
She left without her mother's permission, and a subsequent investigation
has revealed she is more than likely staying at an unknown friend's
house in Sioux Falls.
She was last seen
wearing a dark colored shirt and blue jeans. However, she has indicated
to friends over the phone that she was planning on cutting her hair and
dying it a different color to avoid detection by law enforcement.
There is a concern over Alisha's well being and her ability to stay of dangerous situations.
