"Baby Jane" BASSETT - 3 Months - Detroit MI

DETROIT -- A man has been charged in the death of this 3-month-old daughter.Willie
Bassett was taken into custody last week after being on the run from
authorities since an August incident, where he is accused of killing his
daughter while she was in his care.He was arraigned Saturday on charges of homicide and first-degree child abuse. He was denied bond.Police
from the Detroit, Livonia, Sterling Heights, Clinton Township and U.S.
Marshals departments were all involved in Bassett's case.
