"Baby Jane Doe" - 3 Months - Wichita KS

Police are investigating a case in which a 3-month-old girl was hospitalized with second- and third-degree burns early this morning. Police were called to the 2600 block of East Grail in southeast Wichita shortly before 2:15 a.m., a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said. The child was taken to the burn unit of Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis for treatment. The parents of the child are being questioned by investigators from the Exploited and Missing Child Unit, but no arrests have been made, Lt. Jeff Weible said.
