San Antonio police are asking for your help to find a missing teenager.

They say 14-year-old Christopher Brauchle went missing last Saturday at around 1 a.m.

He was last seen at his home in the 5700 block of Pine Country near Judson Road and Nacogdoches.

Christopher has brown hair and brown eyes, and stands a little over 5 feet tall.

He was last seen wearing gray pants and a white tank shirt.

SAN ANTONIO -- The family of missing teen Christopher Brauchle held a
news conference Wednesday and made a plea to the public for help with
finding him.


Christopher was last seen at his family's home on
Pine Country, near Judson Road and Nacogdoches, some time around 1:00
a.m. Saturday, October 22nd, after they all went to a movie with their
church group. The Heidi Search Center said an employee at the Burger
King restaurant at Loop 1604 and Nacogdoches contacted officials saying
she spotted a teen who looked like Christopher with a woman in her 40's
on Monday, October 24th.

"Christopher has been home-schooled all
his life," his mom Patricia Vaughn told reporters. "He's been with me
every moment of his life, you know? So it's hard, you know? It's like a
death in the family."

Christopher has brown hair and brown eyes
and is about 5' 4" and weighs about 125 pounds. He was wearing gray
pants, a white tank, and white & black high-top athletic shoes.

All of the pictures published show this teen with crutches.
He must have broken his leg severely as they seem to have been taken over a lengthy period of time.
I understand they may be the most current but I am just curious.

SAN ANTONIO -- A San Antonio family is hoping what search parties can’t find, the public can.

Police say 14-year old Chris Brauchle slipped out into the night,
through the bedroom window of his home October 22. His family says there
was nothing to indicate any trouble. Now after 12 days, mother Patricia
Vaughan said there is fear.

"Being that he is home-schooled, I mean, I've had him every day of
his life. He's a part of our daily life, and with him gone, there's an
emptiness, you know? Feels like death in the family because he's not
there," says Chris' mom.

Patricia Vaughan said their hopes soared and then faded after
employees of a nearby Burger King called to say the boy was there with
an older woman.

That was ten days ago, and the family says so far the restaurant chain and police haven’t been able to locate the woman.

Now the case has gone cold.

“We don’t know what is going on. It is really not knowing that’s the worst part of it,” said step-father John Vaughan.

Mother, dad, his brothers and sisters describe Chris as a shy, but outdoorsy-type teenager, who loved survival-type shows.

Survival is now what the family hopes for.

“Every day runs the risk that he’s going to step into something he
doesn’t want to do or someone’s going to get him to do something he
doesn’t want to do. And that’s something we’re afraid of. He’s a good
boy from a good family. We just want him to come home,” said Vaughan.

It’s not a crime if the boy is a runaway, but police say it is a crime if anyone harbors or keeps a runaway.

Missing 14-year-old located, reunited with his family

SAN ANTONIO -- A 14-year-old boy missing for more than two weeks have been located safe.

Christopher Brauchle was last seen at his family's home on Saturday, October 22nd after he and his family went to a movie
with their church group. Officials with the Heidi Search Center say
Christopher was located in Austin Monday night. They say he is well and
has been reunited with his family.

No other details have been released.
