"Newborn John" PARKER - 4 Months - Daytona North FL

Daytona North, Fla - An 18-year-old has been arrested on child abuse
charges after deputies say he shook his 4-month-old son and tossed him
onto a bed.
According to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office, Edward Parker III was watching his son while the child's 18-year-old mother did schoolwork on Oct. 24.
Detectives said Parker tossed the infant onto the bed when it began crying as Parker was preparing to go for a run.
Parker shook the baby until it became unresponsive, when he then took
the infant to Florida Hospital Flagler, the Sheriff's Office said.
The infant was taken to Wolfson's Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, where he is still being treated.
Parker was charged with child abuse and is being held on $25,000 bond.
