Circuit Judge Seeks Fifth Term

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Judge Belvin Perry announced he will seek re-election for his office as a circuit judge in Orange and Osceola counties, according to a news release.
Perry, who is also the chief judge for the Ninth Judicial District, presided over the Casey Anthony trial last summer.

Perry is currently serving his fourth term as a circuit judge and has been chief judge since 2001. Perry also works with the Orange County Central Receiving Center to assist those with mental illness and substance abuse issues and serves on the Orange County Jail's oversight committee.
