Lebanon police issue Endangered Child Alert

LEBANON, TN (WSMV) -

Lebanon police have issued an Endangered Child Alert for two missing children.

Authorities say the two children were placed
into protective custody Monday, when their mother, Cindy Bates, 36, fled
the area with them.

Bates is described as a white female with blonde hair, hazel eyes, standing 5'6" tall and weighing 170 pounds.

Police are searching for Cheyenne Bates, a
10-year-old white female with blonde hair, blue eyes standing 4'3" tall
and weighing 60 pounds; and Danny Scott, a 4-year-old white male, with
brown hair, standing 3'4" tall and weighing 30 pounds.

Police say Cindy Bates may be driving a 1998
red or maroon Plymouth Neon with Tennessee tag B4162F, a white 1998
Dodge Van with Tennessee Tag 911TGZ or traveling with a white male in a
white Chevy Silverado with an unknown Tennessee tag.

An Endangered Child Alert has been issued for the Lebanon Police Department for two children, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Cheyenne Bates is a 10 year-old white female, with blonde hair, blue eyes, 4-foot-3 inches tall and about 60 pounds.
Danny Scott is a 4-year-old white male with brown hair, about 3-foot-4 and 30 pounds.
Both children were to be placed into protective custody Monday when their mother, Cindy Bates, allegedly fled the area with them.
Bates, 36, has blonde hair, hazel eyes, is about 5-6 and weighs 170. She is believed to be driving a 1998 red or maroon Plymouth Neon with Tennessee tag B4162F or a white 1998 Dodge Van with Tennessee Tag 911TGZ, which is an expired plate.
Bates and the children may also be traveling with a white male in a white Chevy Silverado with an unknown Tennessee tag.
The Lebanon Police Department's dispatch department said Tuesday they weren't aware of the children and mother being found.

"A Lebanon mother and her two children were safely located in Nashville a day after an endangered child alert was issued Monday.

Authorities say the two children were placed into protective custody Monday, when their mother, Cindy Bates, 36, fled the area with them."

Bates and Cheyenne, 10, and Danny Scott, 4, are being taken back to Wilson County by the Lebanon Police Department.
