A Newark boy reported missing Friday was not abducted and appears to have run away from home, police said Sunday.
Since disappearing, Andre Sein-Colon, 15, has told friends he was aware of the effort to find him and didn't reveal any plans to come home, said Newark police Sgt. Aaron Slater. As a result, police now consider him a runaway.

Because of his medical issues police are still working to bring the boy home. Investigators are following up with his acquaintances, Slater said.
