Missing boy found alive in pool - Largo FL

Largo, Florida - A child reported missing in Largo was found at the bottom of a swimming pool.

Largo Police are not yet releasing the boy's name saying they want to make sure "there was nothing criminal" to the incident.

He is listed in critical condition at All Children's Hospital.

The search started Thursday morning when the boy's family reported
him missing from the home in the area of 9th Avenue Northwest and the
Pinellas Trail.

Largo Police started canvassing the area, but eventually the search
ended where it began, back at 1047 9th Avenue Northwest, in the
backyard swimming pool.

A Largo Police Officer dived into the pool and pulled the child to
the surface. The pool water was described as "murky" which may explain
why the child was not spotted right away.

Investigators say the boy and his family were just temporarily staying at the home.
