Attorneys for the woman suing Casey Anthony for defamation want to know what, if anything, she's been tweeting about.
In a series of new filings Wednesday, attorneys for the Morgan & Morgan law firm requested copies of any Twitter posts Anthony may have made, and indicated they will again attempt to obtain her home address — this time from the Florida Department of Corrections.
In a request to produce, the attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez instruct Anthony's defense to "produce any and all twitter posts by Casey Anthony."
Rumors of Anthony's online activities have abounded since her high-profile murder trial in the death of her daughter, which ended with her acquittal on all major charges in July.
It's unclear whether Anthony has a Twitter account, as the social networking service is often home to pretenders posing as celebrities and other public figures.
However, videos of Anthony — apparently from a "video diary" — recently surfaced on the Web, possibly suggesting online activity of some form.
Meanwhile, Gonzalez's attorneys on Wednesday also filed a notice indicating that they plan to seek a subpoena for Thomas Magorrian, circuit administrator for the Florida Department of Corrections.
The subpoena, if issued, would demand Anthony's "current residence address." Anthony's defense has 15 days in which to object to the subpoena.
The new subpoena is the latest tactic taken by Gonzalez's attorneys to obtain Anthony's current address, so that they can subpoena her to appear at trial. The judge in the case, Lisa Munyon, ruled earlier this week that Gonzalez's attorneys have the right to subpoena Anthony.
However, Munyon also ruled she couldn't force the defense to accept a subpoena on Anthony's behalf. On Tuesday, Munyon granted a motion delaying the start of the civil trial until early next year.
Anthony has been living in hiding since she was released from the Orange County Jail in July after a jury found her not guilty in the 2008 killing of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Marie.
Gonzalez is suing for defamation of character after Anthony said in 2008 that a woman with a similar name had kidnapped her daughter.
This is a developing story. Check back later for updates.
