SIERA THARP - 13 yo - Paso Robles CA
PASO ROBLES – Paso Robles Police Department is seeking the public's help for a missing runaway juvenile.
Thirteen-year-old Siera Tharp allegedly ran away from home because of
ongoing family disagreements and may be headed toward Inyokern, CA.
On Saturday, March 17 Tharp reportedly left a note at her father's
residence in Paso Robles stating that she was leaving home and running
away. Tharp was believed to be in route to her mother's address in
Inoyokern – her father has full legal custody of her.
Tharp is described as five-foot, five inches in height with blue eyes and blonde hair.
Police originally responded on Sunday, March 18 at 1:50 a.m. to the
1000 block of Vine Street regarding a parent reporting the runaway.
Officers contacted Christopher Tharp, who told officers he found a note
from his 13-year-old daughter, Siera.
Investigators do not suspect foul play related to the case. However,
due to her age, the PRPD is working diligently with family, friends and
the school district to locate her. Family members have placed missing
person fliers around the Paso Robles area asking for assistance.
Investigators have followed up on several leads that Siera might have
tried to meet family near the Ridgecrest, CA area. Additionally, other
family members have reported that Siera was in phone contact with them
and safe.
The PRPD is asking for the community's assistance in locating Siera.
Members of the public are encouraged to contact the PRPD Detective
Bureau with any information at 227-2489. Persons wishing to remain
anonymous are encored to call Crime Stoppers' 24-hour hotline at
549-STOP or by texting "SLOTIPS" plus your message to CRIMES (274637).
