CIERRA THOMAS - 15 yo/ Challenged - New Orleans LA

New Orleans,
La.- The New Orleans Police Department is looking for 15-year-old Cierra
Thomas who was last seen Friday in the 2400 block of New Orleans
Street around 9:30 PM.
Thomas' mother says the teenager is mentally challenged.
Police say Thomas was playing in the back yard of their home and walked to the corner did not return home.
The teen has not been seen or heard from since.
Thomas is described as an African American female, about 5'8" tall and weighs approximately 280 pounds.
She has brown hair and was last seen wearing a pink shirt, black pants and shoes.
Anyone with information on Thomas' whereabouts is urged to call CRIMESTOPPERS at 822-1111.

The New Orleans Police Department is actively searching for a mentally challenged 15-year-old girl in the Seventh Ward.
According to some published reports, Cierra Thomas was last seen Friday in the 2400 block of New Orleans Street around 9:30 p.m.

However, Nola.com
reported that Thomas was last seen getting off the school bus in uptown
New Orleans on Wednesday around 8:30 a.m. while on her way to school. A
security guard told investigators that Thomas took a detour to a local
store.

New Orleans police said Thomas was last seen playing in the back yard
of their home and had walked to the corner, which she often did.

The teen has not been seen or heard from since.

Cierra’s mother says her daughter has been diagnosed with bipolar and depression.

Cierra is about 5-foot-8 and weighs 280 pounds. She has brown eyes
and medium-length black hair. She was last seen wearing a white
polo-style shirt and black pants.

A 15-year-old girl who was reported missing early Saturday has returned home, the New Orleans Police Department said. Cierra Thomas returned home at around 11:30 a.m., said Officer Garry Flot, an NOPD spokesman. She was uninjured....
