Police ask help in searching for missing Bryant man

BRYANT, Ark. (KTHV) - Police are asking for the public's help in searching for a man they say has been missing since Saturday.

According to authorities, Sonya Goodwin says her son DJ Thomas is missing. Goodwin told police that she last spoke with her son DJ on Friday, April 20 around midnight and she has not heard from him since. She found out that he last spoke with a friend of his on Saturday morning around 8 am, but that is the last that anyone has heard from him.



DJ Thomas is a 5'7" white male weighing around 140 lbs. with brown hair and eyes. He has various tattoos on arms, legs, back and chest. He has "Sonya" tattooed on his left lower forearm and a cross and crown tattooed on his right arm. Ms. Goodwin stated that his tattoos were homemade. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with white writing on it, blue jeans and a bright blue ball cap with the NY logo on it. He also was wearing white tennis shoes.

According to Goodwin, DJ also has a broken right leg that he sustained from a car accident in early April.

Update: Missing Bryant Man is Okay

Update from Bryant Police Department (Wednesday, 10:00 a.m.):

Around
9:00 pm last night the Bryant Police Department received a call from
the mother of DJ Thomas who said that he had contacted her and told her
that he was safe. This morning that information was confirmed by our
investigators.
