You probably can’t travel to New York next week to hear defense attorney Cheney Mason and former prosecutor Jeff Ashton discuss the Casey Anthony trial.

But you can still see them via a live webcast on Thursday. The link will be posted at www.law.pace.edu on Wednesday and become active about five minutes before the program begins at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

The attorneys kick off a seminar series called “Trials & Error: Behind the Headlines of America’s Most Controversial Cases.” Alex Ferrer of “Judge Alex” will take part, too.

Pace Law School will bring the three men together for a 90-minute discussion followed by a Q&A. The event will be at the Schimmel Theater, One Pace Plaza in Manhattan.

Writer and law professor Thane Rosenbaum will moderate the panel. The second program in the series, set for Sept. 6, will focus on the O.J. Simpson trial.
