Missing Clay teen found safe Wednesday
ORANGE PARK, Fla. —
A 17-year-old boy who went missing Tuesday has been found safely.
Clay
County Undersheriff Colonel Craig Aldrich says Unar Vaclav took off
after getting in an argument with his mother because he wanted to move
back to Texas with his dad.
"There were plans for him to go back
to Texas and the plans didn't really comport with what he wanted to do.
He wanted to go back and an argument ensued between he and his mother
and he ultimately left the residence and ventured into a wooded area."
After an all night search, Aldrich says they found him walking along a roadway near the Brannen Field Trail Ridge Intersection.
"He decided he was going to try to get back to Texas by his own means," says Col. Aldrich.
Vaclav wasn't hurt, just tired and hungry. He's now being returned to his home and no charges are being filed.
