DEBBIE MITCHELL -14 yo - Detroit MI

The Detroit Police Department needs your help to locate a 14-year-old
girl who disappeared at a bus stop on Beechwood Street in Detroit last
month.


According to a release from police, Debbie Mitchell was
dropped off at the bus stop by her mother at the intersection of Joy
Road and Beechwood Street around 7:00 a.m. on June 28 while on her way
to school.
Mitchell is 5’ 5”, 147 lbs with brown eyes and brown
hair. She was last seen wearing a black and white sun dress with
sandals. Mitchell also suffers from ADHD.

whisked away the next, leaving behind a maddening series of questions
and speculation — and heartbreak. WWJ 950 is shining a light on long-missing people reported to the Detroit Police Department in
the hope it will spark someone to remember something they saw and never
reported. These are our missing, gone but not forgotten.

DETROIT (WWJ) A Detroit mother is living on a roller coaster of emotion every day while she waits for her daughter to come back home.





Polly, who doesn’t want her last name used, hasn’t seen
her daughter Debbie Mitchell, 14, since she dropped her off at the bus
stop July 28 at Joy Road and Beechwood. She adopted her after acting as a foster mother for eight years.

“She never disrespected me, she was always cooperative,
she was supposed to have met some guy … I think she’s messing with some
adults that she shouldn’t have,” Polly said, adding, “My fear is that
she’s going to come up hurt.”

Mitchell is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 147 pounds;
she is black with brown hair and eyes. She was last seen wearing a
white-and-black sundress and sandles.
Mitchell, who has attention deficit disorder, had her medications with her.
