Anthony lawyers want to keep murder trial out of civil suit
Hearing in Casey Anthony civil case set for Thursday

ORLANDO, Fla. — Attorneys for Casey Anthony will fight to keep any mention of her murder trial barred from her upcoming civil trial.
Zenaida Gonzalez is suing Anthony for defamation. She says Anthony’s claim that a nanny by the same name kidnapped her daughter, Caylee, ruined her life.
Anthony’s attorneys have filed a motion to block any evidence or testimony connected to the murder trial.
A judge may decide Thursday whether to keep that information out.
Anthony was acquitted of first-degree murder in July 2011. She served a year’s probation in an unrelated check fraud case in an unknown location.
The civil suit is set to go to trial in January.
