A Tennessee Statewide AMBER Alert has been issued for the Houston County Sheriff's Office for 2- year old Cael Whitehead. Cael was last seen at his residence on January 9, 2013 at approximately 9:00 a.m. Cael is a 2- year old white male, with blue eyes, brown hair, weighing 35 lbs., and is 2'6". Clothing description for Cael is currently unknown. He is believed to be in the company of his father Austin Whitehead. Austin is a 23- year old white male, with green eyes, brown hair, weighing 170 lbs., and is 6'0" tall. Austin is believed to be traveling in a green, 2003 Pontiac Grand AM with tag # BYQ 0161. Austin has made suicidal threats in the past and may be a danger to others. There are warrants on file for Austin Whitehead. Austin may be en route to the Covington, Georgia area. AMBER Alert canceled for West Tennessee toddler


RIN (WATE) - An AMBER Alert was canceled for a two-year-old West Tennessee boy who went missing Wednesday morning.
Cael Whitehead was last seen at 9 a.m. at his home in Houston County, near Clarksville.

He may have been taken by his father, Austin Whitehead.

Just before 4 p.m. on Wednesday, the Tennessee Bureau of
Investigation canceled the alert, saying the boy had been found safe and
a suspect was in custody.

No other details were released.
