Wearing a gray top, purple striped pants, and a pink headband. Suspect is Adrian Gatlin DOB 08 13 95 last seen wearing white tshirt, tan khaki pants, and white shoes. Vehicle is a white 2006 Nissan Altima 4d WA LIC ALL0715. There is also probable cause to arrest Gatlin for Robbery 1.

YAKIMA, Wash. — An Amber Alert was canceled for two children who police feared were with a suspect in an assault and robbery.

The children, 3-year-old Elijah Janshen and 7-month-old Deliiah Gatlin, were discovered to be with a relative.

Police initially worried the two children might have been with Adrian Gatlin, 17, who they say has gang ties and was involved in an attack about 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of South Ninth Avenue.

During the incident, a 17-year-old woman was walking with a friend when she was attacked and robbed of her shoes and purse by two other women, according to a news release issued by the Yakima Police Department.

When a resident of the neighborhood attempted to help the assault victim, police said Adrian Gatlin pointed a gun at the resident and threatened to shoot.

The victim, who suffered minor injuries, including scrapes and abrasions, knew her assailants and was initially reluctant to report the incident, police said.

Two women, ages 18 and 19, were under arrest by early Sunday, but police were unable to find Adrian Gatlin, who they identified as the primary caretaker of one of the children. The Amber Alert was issued after neither child could immediately be found. Gatlin is considered armed and dangerous.
