Mother of murdered Bazetta 4-year-old son pleads guilty to related charges

WARREN, Ohio - A Bazetta Township woman pleads guilty to charges stemming from the death of her four-year-old son.
33-year-old Jennifer Light appeared in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Tuesday morning where she pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and two counts of obstructing justice.
Light originally faced seven charges in connection with the death of her son, Nicholas Partin, who died in June.
Investigators say the boy died after Light's boyfriend, 33-year-old Scott Walker allegedly punched him in the stomach.
Walker is scheduled to stand trial November 12 for charges of murder, felonious assault and child endangering in connection with
the case.
Light will be sentenced after the court conducts a pre-sentence investigation.
