Rome Police investigate unattended baby death

Rome Police tell us a 4-month-old baby was discovered unresponsive at a home on William St. around 3:30 Wednesday afternoon.

Police say they're investigating this as an unattended death.

No word yet on if it's suspicious, or if the infant died from natural causes.

We're waiting for autopsy results from the Onondaga County Medical Examiner's Office.

We hope to have more answers this afternoon.
