Peoria woman allegedly left toddler in car while she slept inside home

PEORIA, Ariz. – A Peoria woman is accused of leaving her 2-year-old daughter in a running car while she slept inside her home Monday night.

Police said Chanelle Marie Fatali, 25, left the toddler in the car with the air conditioning on between approximately 9 p.m. and 10:15 p.m.

The car was parked in front of Fatali’s home while she was sleeping inside her locked and secured home, according to court records.

Fatali was booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail on one count of child abuse
