Detectives: 15-year-old accused of raping 6, 7-year-old girls
Teen charged with 50 counts capital sexual battery

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. —A 15-year-old boy is accused of raping a 6-year-old girl and a 7-year-old girl that he was supposed to be baby-sitting, according to Osceola County detectives.

The victims told detectives that the teen, who WESH 2 News is not identifying, raped each of them multiple times over the past year every time he baby-sat them, according to the arrest affidavit. The teen baby-sat the two girls more than 50 times.

The 6-year-old allegedly became so distraught that she told her grandmother, who reported the suspect. He was arrested Wednesday night.

According to the arrest report, the baby-sitter made the 6-year-old "perform a sex act ... and threatened he would hit her hard if she told anyone."

The teen, who denied the allegations, was charged with 50 counts of capital sexual battery and violation of probation. The violation of probation charge was for previously possessing marijuana, detectives said.

According to the arrest report, he "later admitted that while he was having 'phone sex' with his girlfriend he .... touched (the victim) while she was asleep and naked."

The teen is being held at the Orange County Juvenile Detention Center an appeared before a judge Thursday.

The judge ordered him to remain detained and set his next court date for Aug. 6 with trial set for Aug. 7.

His mother, who was in tears, told WESH 2 News her son is innocent.
